Vacationing in Vodice

Knowing that there was a nearby Roman trade route, we can safely assume that Vodice was a vital part of the Roman Empire. Another noteworthy fact is that there are still remains of a Liburnian Necropolis dating back to the 4th century AD in Velika Mrdakovica, which makes the town itself and its surroundings worthy of a visit by all history lovers.
When it comes to night life, Vodice is definitely where you need to be. Its numerous famous night clubs can contribute to one having one of the best nights a tourist can experience during his vacation anywhere on the coast. There is a great number of world famous DJ-s performing in these clubs all summer long. And for those not tired after dancing all night long, there are after-beach parties organized in the Hookah Bar. One of the night clubs, Hacienda, is known for its world class parties even outside Croatian borders.
For those seeking a bit more relaxing and tranquil vacation, nearby towns of Tribunj, and Srima provide just that. The beaches are far less populated and traditional Dalmatian dishes make this the ideal spot for a perfect and relaxing vacation. The city of Šibenik is a must to visit if you ever find yourself in its vicinity with its vast number of sights to be seen. It makes for an ideal day trip as it is only a 15 minute car ride from Vodice.
